2025-11-16 NGC 896 - also called the Fish Head Nebula for somewhat obvious reasons.
I have captured images of the individual wavelengths L,R,G,B,Ha,Oiii and UHC but have not yet combined them into a colored image.
This monochrome image is the Ha or Hydrogen-alpha emission line at 656.3nm (reddish) though it is black and white without the any other wavelengths added in.
The picture is about 45 arc-minutes horizontally. For reference the moon is about 30 arc-minutes in diameter.
I'll put up a colorized version as I get one done.

2024-08-12 to 13 - Perseid meteors. The picture is a compilation of about 20 images (out of about 700) that I took last year for the Perseid meteor shower which is always Mid-August. In 2024 the peak was around Aug 12 or 13. I just got around to processing them which is why they are just coming online. I was trying to extract just the visible meteor lines but I have not been able to achieve a reasonable end result so just publishing the image as-was.
2024-01-30 LBN863 or Lower'sNebula - Pictures of the nebula with my 16" telescope. The picture is the luminance, hydrogen alpha (Ha) and OxygenIII (Oiii) images combined as red, green and blue images. Kind of a wild color palette but I like the orange detail in part of the nebula.
